MOVING MY POSTS TO......PUG POSSEE

MOVING MY POSTS TO .......PUG POSSE.BLOGSPOT.COM
Just thinking this blog is rather messed up...I should of left it alone, I feel it is to hard to read with the new background and the way it is set up.....I am not happy with it, I wont delete WillowBelle.....so those of you who want to view it still can... See you on Pug Posse! oh and don't forget to change or add my new page to your link list.........Thank you ;o)

Enjoying some Popcorn their Human sister spilled...yummm nice treat! This is how Belle has been sleeping..........on her back, ears flopped over and curled paws..Sweet Dreams Baby Girl.
I was a bit nervous because I found a lump on the back lower right side of Willow. I assumed the worst...CANCER, I called the vet they want me to bring her in Wednesday Morning, anyway this morning I was reading our local News Paper and there was a photo of our Veternarian giving a Dog a Rabie shot ( during a Rabie clinic ) and I noticed he was injecting the vaccine in the exact area where the lump is on Willow...PHEWWWW! I feel a hole lot better after seeing this in the paper. Just one of those Hypercondriac Pug Owners....
Belle get bigger everyday, she now pretty much has the run of the first floor of our house. We keep all the doors shut to keep her just in the Kitchen, Dining and Living room area. She is loving her big Brother Miles pretty funny seeing a 4 lb pug with a 90lb Chocolate lab. he really doesn't know what to think of her. He is very gentle with her. She love to bite on his feet.

No Photos....Camera is on the fritzzzzzz!

Sorry my digital camera is having issues...........Bummer, I got a few good shots with Belle and Willow playing with Miles.( our chocolate Lab) so hopefully soon I will get the camera figured out.
I hope everyone had a good ST. PATRICKS DAY!

...we also found a few unwanted visitors.....Fleas! so we are spraying, shampooing and Revolution ( Willow and Miles use Revolution) and Frontline ( for the cats) treatments this weekend! I have to keep a good eye on Belle.......too young for treatments. so far so good with her, haven't seen any fleas on her. Just Poor Willow and our Cat Alex...Oh and this reminds me. We brought him to the groomers to get a "Lion" cut ( he is a Long Haired Cat) to help get rid of the fleas. I have to take a picture of him, he looks like a Poodle all shaved around his body except for his head, feet and they left a ball of fur on the very tip of his tail...oh so funny. I must get this darn camera to work to get a picture of him. It is Hysterical!

Willow Feels sooooooooo much better ! :o)

Back to normal.... What a scary ordeal that was. Thank you to those who sent Willow get well wishes....it worked thanks to all her Pug fans out there! I decided not to give her her new meds again like the vet ordered...it is really not worth it to me risking the chance for her to get extremely sick again.... no way! anyway Belle is growing so fast..she is a tough little girl she really gives it to Willow.

Look at the size difference of Willow and Belle, Gives you the idea to just how small Belle really is.........Hard to believe Willow was that small a year ago.

This is Willow's favorite place to nap. she sinks between the cushion and back of the couch. We have been entertaining the idea of getting a new Living room set but.....you see what Willow is doing to the couch? Deforming the Cushions...maybe we should wait? Kids....Pugs.....New Couch??? No Not a good idea. Belle .....she is loosing her Pot Belly....which is surprising she loves to eat!

Oh....I am so excited...I finally found and joined a Pug Meet - UP in our area ( well 20 Minutes away) the next Meet-up is April 1st..(My Dad's Birthday) this Group has 46 Pugs! Can't wait...My 2 daughters are thrilled and My husband even said he would like to attend...a family affair!

Willow update..........

Just wanted to let you all know that Willow seems to be doing well. Still not herself but I bet by the end of the weekend she should be back to her bouncy self. She didn't eat much today but what she did eat she has kept down. She was bright eyed and alert today just really drowsy and lazy. ( I think she is just wiped out from being so sick) She got up during the night and had a accident, out of all places in my youngest daughters bedroom on the carpet...strange? I wonder what made her go there?oh well not a big deal to me I have spray and cleaner for Puppy Accidents so a little spray , scrub-brush and elbow grease did the job. Anyway my hubby and I went out for Dinner tonight and I felt bad leaving her home alone not feeling well so ...Don't laugh...................I moved her crate in front of the TV and turned the Animal Planet channel on for her to watch while we were gone...( My hubby to me I am crossing the line!)

Not a Good Day...More like a scary day.....

Not a good day today......Our day started out as normal as our usual day. Went to work, came home gave Willow her afternoon dose of her Allergy meds. and gave her a bath with her special shampoo that she needs once a week for her Allergies. She shivered through the whole thing.( Not like her at all she loves her Puggy Tubbys) I dried her off and noticed she was not herself. I let her alone to give her time to rest. I went about my business and did housework and Willow is always at my feet and she was no where to be found. this is maybe 30-45 minutes later. I found her unresponsive downstairs in my daughters room defecating and surrounded in vomit. Cold to touch and very lethargic. I carried her upstairs to the living room and she continued to vomit and defecate. I was frantic! I called my husband home right away Crying like a child ( Good thing her works a hop skip and a jump from our home. ) I called her vet, they said to bring her right in, I wrapped her up in a warm blanket and loved her and told her that everything was going to be ok........she was like holding a bucket of rocks....and she was very limp. of course I am fearing the worst, I look over my Hubby has tears in his eyes telling her to hang in there....The vet is only about 7 min from here but it seemed to take forever...we finally arrived the Nurse met us at the door and she litterly whisked her away and brought her out back......during the time she was with the Doctors I was drilling my mind to think if there was something she got into and ate....if I gave her new meds to her wrong.....I was going crazy. The vet has a huge Collage of pictures of all there patients and I saw so many pictures of Willow as a pup to present. It was killing me to look at the pictures. not knowing what was going on out back..is she going to make it? is she going to be able to come home? I was talking a mile a minute...out of nerves and I didn't want to cry so I talked talked and talked. Marlene (The Nurse) came out to meet with us she said Willow's body temp has dropped and is having a severe reaction to either the vaccinations or the new meds she is on. Unsure to what gave her the reaction so they injected some form of a slow release gel behind her neck. ( looks like a water balloon) this will dilute and flush out the medication that is giving her the reaction. They observed her and felt that she indeed was extremely ill but allowed us to bring her back home to watch and hoping being in her home she will be more comfortable. Scared to death we brought her home they also said to place her near heat to keep her warm from her body temp dropping. so here I am watching willow trying to get her to drink some water she drank a little but, all she wants to do is sleep.....we keep the crate door open but she refuses to came out. I did take her out and cradled her and talked to her gave her loves the gel on the back of her neck is the strangest feeling and it looks bazaar but it seems to be working. she is looking better and is alert but, to weak to want to come out. I can't even begin to tell you how scared we were...we almost lost our Willow. We have to bring her back tomorrow for them to check her over. So far so good we think she is in the clear. Looks like we will be okay for the night. actually as I am writing this and My husband and a friend came home and Willow barked and came out of her crate now she is up here beside me on the sofa. Fewwww! I am feeling a little bit better having her up and beside me.I hope this never happens again. The hardest thing is not knowing what gave her the reactions in 4 weeks I have to start her on her new meds again and play the waiting game....if she does well we know it was one of 3 of her vaccinations. then again she was vacationed last year and this never happened. I am quiet worried to try the meds again.....I will keep you all posted on her......

Vet trip and Take out from KFC

Willow had a Doctor appointment today.....Rabies shot, heart worm test and trying to figure out what we can do to make her more comfortable from her awful skin allergies..those of you who don't know Willow has a severe allergy to PROTEIN....along with 14 others. anyway she weighs 18.8 lbs. Negative for heart-worms and healthy. just itchy from those darn allergies, so her Dr. prescribed her a new medication witch I was all for...anything to help her feel better, poor thing goes into a itching tizzy....so I agrees to try this new medication. he also put her on a medicated ointment for her Wrinkles...they get so soar. I was Psyched that she was on new meds. and Optimistic that she will be feeling better soon....The Kicker.......the bill..can I say Cha CHINGGGGGG! Ouch! are you ready for this???? okay.......$247&change. ya....the new Allergies meds he has her on was $115.00 and this was just enough for a month....so if it works I will have this payment along with my New Mortgage payment and car payment......UGGGG! So now I am really entertaining the idea of Pet Insurance But she is my Kid so I will do what ever it takes to make her comfy. So anyway here is a photo of Willow with her flashy Bandage she got after her Bloodwork..........She Likes pink.
Not helping her allergies but Willow found a few crumbs left from Dinner...
Where's Belle? I think she found a crumb the Willow missed! Gottta Love KFC!

I Love my new Sister.....

Finally....! Willow and Belle can have play time together. Willow is understanding that Belle is a lot smaller than her. Yet she still plays rough but knows her boundaries with Belle. There was a few times where I had to get in and break up the fun. but they were back at it in no time. I guess Willow is teaching her sis things a Human Mom can't. So I let them go and do their thing but watch on the side line and ref. She should sleep well tonight! Yes Belle these are the shoes that we aren't supposed to chew on, Besides it looks like our Human sister got hers all wet and Muddy..Yuckkkk! :p
A game of Hide 'n Seek.............I sniffed you out Belle, Don't tell Mom you hid in the Dog Food Bin!
WHOOT HOOO...Look what our Human sister got for us out of the Claw machine at Wal Mart! a Pink Monkey we can play Tug o War with!
I love my new sis but I need a break.....Nothing like the warm Morning sun on my face......Excuse me while I rest my Precious face.....

Willow is coming around, she is finding her Baby Sister isn't so bad after all......

Finally....Willow is coming around although she is still a bit rough with Belle. I always thought Willow was always so small and a Petite Pug..that was until Belle was introduced to Willow. now Willow is SO heavy and big! so today that had a lot more time to get acquainted without the gate, the played in the kitchen where we could observe...at first it went well then Willow got to excited and pushed Belle around and pounced on her pretty good, so back to playing on each side of the gate.
It is funny...everytime we have a visitor Willow will go to the visitor jump up and then will run to where Belle is..Like she is trying to tell them about Belle...after a few minutes she will come back and do it all over again until they go and check out Belle...It is almost like Willow is proud and wants to show her off.

Hair Night.....

Belle found a new friend!!!!! Herself!! Poor Willow is being kept prisoner in her crate, she is still too rough with Belle. so Willow had to sit on the sidelines while Belle got acquainted with herself in the mirror.

My youngest daughter was a bit sad knowing that she wasn't able to go to the movies with her big sister and friend. After we dropped the older girls off at the movies we had to run to the Pharmacy and she found some sponge rollers that she thought she needed..hoping to take the sad look off her face I agreed to get them for her. as you can see the first picture she is still a bit sad and the last picture she has a instant smile.........I will try to take a picture of her tomorrow that is if she can sleep with them in (ouchhh!) if so hopefully she will have curls. after we finished she said doing her hair was more fun than the movies. just a memory I hope she will hold onto..( spending time with Mom)

Adjusting........

Belle seems to be adjusting just fine....she keeps herself busy and found out she can bark..too Funny. it is so muffled and soft, she barks at her toy pig then swats at it, Still off balance she usually falls over. Here is picture of her nibbling on Willow's ear. Poor Willow all she wanted to do is sleep and Belle just wanted to play. I told Willow that her sister had me up about 4-5 times during the night so she must of told Miles and they both helped me out with the dishes.........

Willow must of found a spot that Miles missed.....a little gravy maybe :0) A fresh load of laundry..........
Belle is hoping that I don't mistake her for Laundry and that I don't fold her up and put her in the drawer.....

Getting settled in.............

Getting ready for bed on her first night at home .................I love her so much I wish I could fit in her crate with her. I can't wait till she is big enough to snuggle up in bed with Me and Willow......

Welcome Home Belle......

Here is Belle on our Long Journey home..about 1 hour 45 minutes away, she did well she loves to lick and nibble on you fingers. I Think she must have had a Heineken before we picked her up..her Puppy Breath smells similar to beer....my daughters said it smells like a skunk...either way stinky breath or not she is a KEEPER....
This is Belle with her Big Human Sister for the first time...I think my daughter has a permanent smile
Belle with Her other Human Sister for the first time..My daughter couldn't believe her eyes...she asked me if she was for her....I said no she is mine but I will share.
Belle and me...excuse my short shirt Belle had a snag with her pack paw and tugged onto my sweater..anyway I couldn't resist this picture due to her Tongue sticking out....You can see I have her crate and pen in our master Bath because Willow and Miles (our lab.) keep jumping on the gate about not leaving her alone so I thought she would do better in a quite place. so far so good.

Finally Willow gets to be with her sister, Poor Belle, All Willow wants is to play but she is a little to rough, she(willow) pawed her pretty good so we will have to be around to observe. Belle has such a great personalty. She is a Hoot. a little uncoordinated but funny to watch...she tries so hard to walk but is so off balance she is all over the place. Funny :0) she grunts, she squeaks, and smells so sweet. She is a Love..I am glad she's home. oh also she has made it to her potty pad each time ...no accidents today.!!! Yippee!!

I went Baby Belle Shopping......

Almost time! 3 1/2 days to go. My daughters still have no idea on Belle so they have been with their Grandparents for the past couple days so this was a good time for me to get a few more items before Belle's arrival. I found these ceramic pink heart dishes 1/2 off at TARGET 2 for a Dollar....OMG what a deal. better than spending $15.00 or more for a set at the Pet Supply store. Gotta have the Potty Pads and I got her a cute new bed, a baby toy from the baby Dept.

This is a dog Crate that My Friend Denise got for Willow when she was just a pup. So Willow has outgrown it and it will be passed down to Belle. This is a perfect size for the first few months. Especially when going in the car, the vet. It is the cutest thing. I love the PRISON door..LOL Now all we need is Baby Belle.......

Playing House with My Human Sister....

Poor Willow.... My daughter's friend was not able to come over to play today so Willow knew she was in for a long afternoon of playing dress-up and house. This is a photo of their *pretend* walk to the store . Willow was a good spot. She actually likes the doll stroller. (There are a few dog strollers for sale at our local pet supply store....I wonder if I should invest in one....could be handy for walks and when we go to the parades....something to think about) anyway Willow can't wait for her Baby sister to come home to join the fun....6 more days to go..uggg the closer I get to getting her I get more and more anxious. I will just cherish the last few days I have with Willow one on one...I was thinking that this morning when I was laying in bed getting ready for the day and Willow was snuggled right up against me under the covers sleeping so sound, Wondering if she will be mad with me for having to share me with another Pug, having her space invaded. Not being the center of attention. Going to be a big change but I am Optimistic that it will all go smoothly and nothing but 2 happy little Pugs and a BIG CHOCOLATE Lab all content with each-other........
